DISABILITY ACCOMMODATION
Individuals who qualify as disabled under the disability laws pertaining to employment may be entitled to reasonable accommodations in order to assist them in performing their duties. Reasonable accommodations may include job restructuring, schedule modification, facility or equipment modification, personal assistance, reassignment, etc.
There are limits on the employer's obligation to provide accommodation. For example, the employer is not required to provide any accommodation that would cause the employer to suffer undue hardship. Accommodations that would be too costly or too substantial, for instance, may not be required. There are other limits as well.
